Tailored Support Services

Through our partnership with MAYDS, we can offer Tailor Support Services for those children, young people, and families in need of additional support and advice.  

These include-

Young Carers Services – Young Carers Statements, Respite and Activities for Young Carers

    and support accessing funding and grants for Young Carers.

Counselling – MAYDS counsellor has weekly presence in Islay High School

                 and outwith this can see older young people to age of 25  

   who have left school and need counselling

                 Also Primary school age children for support such as Play Therapy

           and Parents and Families in need of counselling.

Employability – Through both Spark Your Purpose and Workingrite we can support young people

to enter positive destinations, this is done via several routes such as Flexible Learning Plans

in partnership with the School, Tailor-made pre-employability support, work based modules

and work based placements.
